Description
The study of the art of conducting, with emphasis on the five principal areas of expression within beat patterns, gestural vocabulary and communication, score study and phrase analysis, score reading at the keyboard, and repertoire studies. Over-arching consideration will be that of a philosophy of conducting. Prerequisite: Instructor permission.
